Help our Sue Sue Fight Cancer!

Hi, my name is Jeff "Marty" Martell and I'm working to help my sister Suzanne Martell with fighting her melanoma brain cancer that she was diagnosed with early fall, 2021.
Suzanne underwent surgery this past September and finished radiation earlier this year to remove and shrink tumors in her brain. She is currently building up her strength while she and her doctors work to identify her next treatment steps, whether it be more radiation or chemotherapy. The goal is for this second treatment plan to begin in March, with the hope that any remaining tumors can be downsized or eliminated.
My sister Suzanne has steadfastly relied on the love, persistence, and support of her friends and family—our mom, Linda; brother Dan; aunts Sheila and Pat; dear family friends Margie Loya and Joanne Kiesel; and many more of our family and friends.
We've also been so grateful for the medical and support staff with the Henry Ford Hospital and Cancer Center for their expertise and for their care and compassion for Suzanne. My sister continues to take each obstacle as it comes with determination and faith in God, and she recently was able to come home and to continue her care closer to home.
Suzanne has been unable to work since the fall and recently exhausted her Family Medical Leave Act allocation from her former employer. She is in the process of applying for long-term disability income and Medicaid but was told it may take up to six months (or longer) for her to be approved. In the meantime, we are looking to provide her with financial support to alleviate some of the stress that unsurprisingly arises while fighting a life threatening disease.
My family appreciates any support that you can lend in these trying times, and I thank you for your friendship, love, and thoughts for Suzanne.
