I am a 4th grade teacher in East Oakland, CA. I currently teach 52 students, most of whom qualify or receive free/reduced lunch. We just started a science curriculum this year and my students have never been more excited! They love to learn, especially hands on, and I strive to provide them with as many opportunities as possible to see themselves as scientist. This is why I would love for them to be able to go to the Exploratorium as our end of the year field trip. Our students do not always get to travel outside of our neighborhood, and I know they will cherish this chance to emerge themselves fully into all the Exploratorium has to offer!
