We are part of Helios, a charitable, youth-led space mission focused on tackling one of the most urgent challenges facing cities today: extreme urban heat.

Using satellite data, our team works to identify areas most affected by rising temperatures and provide evidence to support policies and interventions that protect vulnerable communities and improve climate resilience.

We have been given an incredible opportunity to attend a conference in Geneva, where we will present our work, learn from experts in the space and climate sectors, and connect with organisations working to create real change. This experience will allow us to develop our project further and increase the impact of our work.

However, as a student-led initiative, funding this opportunity is a challenge. We are aiming to raise £2,000 to cover travel, accommodation, and conference costs.
