Help our Stevie Girl
Donation protected
Update: unfortunately Stevie was unable to recover from this horrible accident and passed away earlier today. We are struggling to process this nightmare as well as process the financial burden of trying to do everything we could to save her. If you are able to help, we would be forever grateful.
Today, Stevie unknowingly got out of our house. Because she normally sleeps on the couch or does her own thing, we didn’t realize she was out there until an extended amount of time had passed. She is normally able to open our screen doors to get back into the porch and normally barks to let us know she wants back in. I’m not sure what happened or why she didn’t open the door or bark for us. I don’t know if she fell asleep in the sun and didn’t wake up until it was too late or what happened where she didn’t try to get back inside. Unfortunately, being a French Bulldog with breathing issues, the effects of heat have greatly affected her. The prognosis is 50/50 but they are trying everything they can to save her. We won’t know anything until they run tests tomorrow. The treatments and tests plus emergency vet care is extremely expensive, but we can’t imagine not giving her a fighting chance, especially after such a traumatic event. If there’s anything you can do to help support her recovery, we would be so grateful
