Hi! My name is Sage Torgersen and I am a senior in high school and have been an active part of the speech and debate team all four years. I can honestly say that going out with the team, competing, and meeting new people from all over the state has been the highlight of my educational career. However, this year some of my team mates or I won't be able to experience that. We're having a hard time this year coming up with the funds to let all of us go. 

We have two major tournaments to look forward to that are out of town in the spring. We have National Qualifiers and State for both individual events and debate events. That means we need to find the fund not only to sign everyone up for their events, but also for buses and hotel rooms. 

I really want to make this year memorable as my senior year and I want all of my team mates to be able to share the experiences with me.
