Hi! My name is Lisa Roundtree and I am a teacher at South Side Elementary School in Champaign, Illinois. This fall, our school community was gifted the opportunity to attend a Chicago Bulls basketball game in Chicago on February 26th, after our principal appeared on the Jennifer Hudson Show. Unfortunately, we found out that the tickets do not come with transportation expenses to get our students, staff, and chaperones to and from the game or funding for additional expenses. We are reaching out for support to help make this field trip dream a reality for our students.

We have been contacted by a few local businesses about donating food for the students. Funding will be prioritized to secure charter buses to transport students to and from Chicago. Any additional funding will be used to get the students t-shirts for the trip.
