Our South Gate Middle School Viking Robotic Teams (2) have been working tirelessly after school, designing, building, and coding their robot for the upcoming VEX IQ competition on October 17th. Their dedication, creativity, and teamwork have been incredible to watch — but despite all their hard work, we are facing one major challenge: we don’t have the funds to cover our registration fee. Without it, our students won’t be able to compete.

These students have spent countless hours learning about engineering, problem-solving, and perseverance. They’ve tested, rebuilt, and improved their robot over and over again, all while supporting one another as a true team. They are eager and excited to finally showcase their efforts at the competition — but we need your help to make it happen.

As a Title I school, many of our students rely on school programs like this to explore STEM opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach.
