Our family is going through an incredibly difficult time, and we’re asking for support during a season we never saw coming. Our son was recently involved in a serious incident where another student violently pushed him into a parked truck. As a result, he suffered a severe knee injury that required emergency care, including stitches, and now surgery. What makes this even harder is that this followed months of ongoing bullying and harassment, which ultimately escalated into physical harm.

At the same time, our family has already been facing a major setback. In January, my husband was involved in a semi-truck accident that left him unable to work for the past three months. We have been doing everything we can to stay afloat, but this unexpected injury to our son has added an overwhelming financial and emotional burden. Right now, our focus is on helping our son heal—both physically and emotionally—but the medical expenses from the ER visit, surgery, and recovery are quickly adding up.
