Two sisters, one in a fight against breast cancer and one battling kidney failure, truly could use your help.
Tisha Morales is 40 years old. She has a loving husband and two wonderful children: a 19-year-old son and a beautiful 2-year-old girl. Tisha was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. She is fighting a rare, aggressive form of Stage 3 cancer by undergoing chemotherapy, surgery and hormone treatment. Of course, these procedures are costly. Six upcoming treatments, for instance, will cost about $7200 USD. Tisha and her husband already have sold personal belongings in order to cover initial costs, but it does not take long for high medical expenses to consume all they possess. Even the trips to and from the hospital in Cebu City add to the trials of dealing with her health crisis. For her continued treatments, I know that Tisha and her husband will be deeply grateful for any support you might be able to provide.
Hygeia Labajo is 28 years old. Hygeia is diabetic and experiencing renal failure, a common complication associated with diabetes. Hygeia was diagnosed with this issue last year, and she has been undergoing dialysis treatments. She must complete three sessions of dialysis every week, and the cost of each session is just over $100 USD. Hence, her annual cost of this life-saving treatment is over $15000 USD. Sisters Tisha and Hygeia will be grateful for anything you might be able to contribute in order to help them fight breast cancer and to offset the expense of dialysis treatments.
My name is Melony Etol. I initiated this fundraising effort on behalf of my sisters, each of whom is suffering from a life-threatening medical issue. Both of my sisters have wonderful hearts; they continue to share a love of life, family, friends, and community. My family and I are from the island of Cebu in the Philippines. Our extended family is doing what it can to support Tisha and Hygeia, but we have come to the point of truly needing and hoping for financial assistance. If you find that you are able to help us offset these medical costs, to any extent, please know that the entire family will be incredibly grateful. Any donation you might be able to make here will be an enormous help, not only physically but emotionally. Both of these courageous and loving women are doing all they can to conquer their medical challenges, but it has come to the point that they truly need a helping hand. Every dollar makes a difference at this point, and every share might be one that finds another kind soul. We remain hopeful and appreciate everyone who has contributed to their care.
Again, we thank you so much for any support you might be able to provide and simply for taking the time to read and learn of my sisters’ story.
God bless and have a good day!

Note: The funds are being managed by me and by aunt Margery to make it easier on Tisha and Hygeia; absolutely all donations go directly toward these important medical treatments. Again, we sincerely thank you for helping!
