Help Our Shamrock Dancers Get to the World Championships

We’re a small but passionate Irish dance school based in Bolton — The Shamrock Academy of Irish Dance. This July, some of our dancers have been invited to compete at the CNRG World Championships in Colchester.

This is a huge achievement and an incredible opportunity — but with travel, hotel stays and entry fees (up to £115 per dancer), it’s a significant financial commitment for many of our families.

We’re holding a 6-hour Danceathon Fundraiser on Saturday 19th July to help raise funds — and we’d love your support.

Every penny donated will go directly toward easing the cost of entry fees and travel for the dancers representing our school. These children train with dedication, resilience, and joy every week — and they truly deserve the chance to dance on the world stage.

Whether you can give £2 or £20, it all makes a difference. We’ll be sharing updates from the Danceathon and Worlds, so you can follow along on their journey.
