Help Our SEND Learners Reach Their Goal – One Step at a Time

Donation protected
This academic year, our amazing SEND learners have set themselves an inspiring challenge - to raise funds for a Leading Futures provision minibus that will open up more opportunities for learning, independence, and community experiences.

To make this dream a reality, we are coming together as a team to walk 100 miles over the course of the year. This challenge will be a huge achievement for many in our community, and every step we take will bring us closer to our goal.

We’re kicking things off with our very first fundraising event - The Leading Futures Festive Ramble!

The Leading Futures Festive Ramble

Date: Monday 8th December 2025
Location: The Wrekin, Shropshire

Our team will be hiking to the top of The Wrekin - the perfect “starter ramble” to launch our 100-mile challenge and to test our staff’s fitness levels!

But this isn’t just a walk. It’s a step towards making a huge difference in the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

We’ll be ending our challenge in July 2026, when our dedicated staff team will take on the Three Peaks - climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England, and Wales!

Why We’re Raising Funds

We are hoping to raise enough money to purchase a Leading Futures Minibus - a vital resource that would allow us to offer enrichment opportunities, off-site learning, and community experiences for our learners.

A minibus would open doors to new environments, social experiences, and creative projects that many of our learners currently miss out on. It’s not just transport - it’s a gateway to independence, confidence, and growth.

With over 40 years of combined experience in education, our team is passionate about ensuring every child receives the right support, at the right time.

How Your Donations Help

Every contribution - big or small - makes a lasting impact.

Your donations will help fund:

• Our Leading Futures Minibus
• Artistic Creative Expression (ACE) projects within our provision
• Specialist equipment and resources to enhance learning opportunities

These funds will help us provide the very best environment for our learners to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Recognition for Our Supporters

Significant donations from individuals or businesses will be recognised on the minibus itself, with the donor’s name or company logo proudly displayed as a lasting thank you for their generosity and support.

Together, We Can Make a Difference

Every step we take up The Wrekin brings us closer to giving our learners greater access to the world beyond the classroom.

Your support — whether through donations or simply sharing our story — means the world to us and to the young people we serve.

Let’s climb this mountain together and change futures for good!

Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
