Help Our Ruby-Doo Heal and Thrive with Love

Hello, we are Cash and Anne, a musician and administrative assistant from Genesee County, MI. Our beautiful baby girl Ruby recently had to undergo an emergency surgery to remove an obstruction in her GI tract. While in surgery, the doctor also discovered that Ruby's spleen had two diseased-looking spots, so we gave them permission to remove it. If we had not, it would have eventually ruptured and killed her. They informed us that all of her other organs are fine and that he thinks this was detected early enough not to cause future issues. We are still waiting for the lab results of her spleen. Those should be back in two weeks.
Ruby is home now and recovering well. She's adapting to her cone and getting all the love and care she needs to have a full, healthy recovery.
We rescued Ruby about 7 years ago and she has been such a blessing to our lives. Our landlord at the time told us to get rid of her or move. We moved. Because of Ruby, we left a terrible apartment with a shady landlord for a wonderful house with a yard and an awesome landlord. She has saved us in so many ways that when she needed this emergency surgery, there was never a second of hesitation about how far we'd go for her.
However, now we have this enormous medical bill to pay off and of course, it is going to be a struggle. Anything you could spare to help offset these bills would be sincerely and forever appreciated. We wouldn't be doing this if it wasn't truly needed. Thank you so much for taking the time to read Ruby's story. She'd give you a million kisses right now if she could!!!
