Help our Rocketman, Elton, beat FIP!
Donation protected
Our little RocketMan, Elton Purrcules John, was recently diagnosed with wet FIP. He has some fluid in his abdomen, and has lost muscle mass and weight in a pretty rapid way, and has gone off of his food! All of this to say, we are pretty worried about him.
Thankfully, unlike only a few years ago, FIP is no longer a death sentence! It can be treatable, with daily medication. Sadly, that medication is a little pricey. We had a rough financial year in 2024, and we were just beginning to start balancing back out to normal, so we could really use some help getting our boy back to normal.
He is only 9 months old with a long life ahead of him making endearing chaos with his sister, Toni, with whom he shares a very close bond.
We are asking for any help to cover medications, vet visits & testing. Any excess we collect will be donated to Lost Our Home, the rescue from which we adopted Elton in June of 2024. In addition to finding forever homes for homeless pets, Lost Our Home also works with people experiencing crisis in the Phoenix area with temporary housing and care for their pets until they get back on their feet.
