Yesterday morning, a beautiful blue-eyed husky appeared in our yard, whimpering outside our daughter’s window. She was shy and skittish, but we could see she was in pain. We offered her food and a safe place to rest, and after some time, she began to trust us—especially our youngest daughter, who she’s already started playing with. Despite her rough past, she’s incredibly sweet and loving, and it’s clear she just wants to feel safe and cared for.

When we got a closer look, we saw deep, painful lacerations around her neck, likely from a collar that was much too tight. The wounds are severe, with pus and blood buildup, and she desperately needs medical attention. Because we’re on a limited income, we haven’t been able to take her to the vet yet. She also needs basic care like deworming, flea treatment, grooming, and spaying, as she is a young female dog who has already gotten her period. A warm dog house to call her own would also help her feel safe and comfortable. It’s clear she’s been on the streets for a long time, and we want nothing more than to help her heal and feel at home.

We’re hoping to raise enough to cover her vet bills, spaying, and give her the essentials she needs to recover and thrive. Our family has already fallen in love with her, and we want to give her the loving home she deserves.
