Help Our Rescue Cows while Anthony is Recovering

Last Monday, Anthony had a major life threatening car accident in Maleny, and was airlifted by the RACQ helicopter to Royal Brisbane Hospital, where he was put into an induced coma, while they operated on his injuries.  Thanks to the amazing care of the medical team at RBH, thankfully he responded to treatment and is now recovering.

Ten years ago, Anthony Walsgott  founded and has been running the Save A Cow Foundation (SACF), one of the largest cow sanctuaries in the world. It has eighty  cow residents, who live their lives out in a healthy and nurturing environment till the end of their days. Anthony's passion is to educate people to the plight of farm animals, and to highlight their peaceful and sentient nature.

In Winter, Anthony gets super busy, as he has to hand feed the cows. This requires him to mow grass almost every day to have enough feed for them.  Now that he is incapacitated, and his vehicle has been written off,  the cows are still hungry and we need to purchase all feed whilst he is in recovery.

The cows are homed over five SACF  Sanctuaries in South East Queensland, Australia, from Gympie to just north of Brisbane.  This requires Anthony to drive between the sanctuaries to care for the rescued animals ... so, until he is fully recovered, he will be unable to do this voluntary work.  His recovery may take 6-12 months, so we need to be prepared to take over the duties for quite a while.

That's where I come in! My name is Julianne, and I am Anthony's partner, I will be taking over operations until he is back, fighting fit, and strong enough to continue his life mission.

Our weekly costs are:
5 x 220 kg round bales @ $100-$120 per bale
10 x small square bales of hay @ $25 per bale
2 x 20 kg bags of pasture boost pellets @ $22 per bag
1 x Bag of mineral supplements @ $30 per bag
Other costs  such as well as water, petrol, fencing materials

When you help Anthony, you can be sure all of the money raised, goes to helping the wellbeing of the cows and that the cows are going to live out their whole natural lives with a deep respect and love from the SACF team.

Please help us help the cows! Thank you in gratitude!
