Our beloved Referee Assignor, Bill Van Der Vlist, recently experienced a terrifying incident—his car unexpectedly caught fire and was completely totaled. Thankfully, he made it out safely, but now he’s left without transportation.
As you all know, Bill has been an essential part of TORSO, working tirelessly to ensure our games run smoothly week after week. Whether it’s managing refs, keeping things fair, or just being a great presence on the field, he’s always been there for us. Now, it’s our turn to be there for him!
We’re rallying together as a league to raise funds to help him get back on the road with a reliable vehicle. Every contribution, big or small, will make a difference in showing our support and appreciation for all he does.
