My friend and President of Mizpah Congregation has always gone above and beyond to serve our community. He is in a wheelchair and relies on a specialty equipped van for transportation.

Recently , while on his way to a special congregational meeting, he was hit on the interstate and while he was not significantly injured, his specialty van was "totaled".

David now faces the challenge of finding a new accessible van that needs to be fitted with hand controls, a stop bar and other adaptations to ensure it is safe and comfortable for his needs.

The insurance will cover the present value of his 2012 van, but not the replacement cost which is significantly more than a standard van.
