Last month, my wife began experiencing spells of unbalance and numbness in her left foot. Within a week, her symptoms worsened, and we rushed her to urgent care. She was immediately sent to the hospital for a CT scan and MRI, where doctors discovered three masses in her brain. These masses are putting pressure on the areas that control movement and sensation on the left side of her body. She spent three days in the hospital, and although she could still walk when she was released, her condition quickly declined. Now, she is unable to walk and requires a wheelchair and 24/7 support at home.
The next step in her treatment is a brain biopsy, which is urgently needed to determine the best course of action. The cost of the biopsy alone is overwhelming, and we are struggling to gather the funds needed to move forward. My wife is the pastry chef at Dray Bar & Grill, a family-owned restaurant in Spartanburg, SC. Her desserts are always the highlight of a meal, and she is dearly missed by her coworkers and the loyal customers who love her creations. Our hope is that with the right treatment, she can return to the job and community she loves so much.
We are reaching out for prayers, any financial support you can spare, and your thoughts for her recovery. Your help will make a real difference in her journey back to health and back to the kitchen where she brings so much joy to others. Thank you for supporting our family, our restaurant, and our community during this incredibly difficult time.
