Hi Everyone,

Our family is reaching out during one of the hardest moments of our lives. Our Papa, a kind, hardworking, and deeply loved husband, father, and friend, has been in the hospital for over 7 weeks battling a severe case of pulmonary fibrosis — a progressive lung disease that makes it increasingly difficult to breathe.

After a long road of tests, treatments, and hope, we received the news: he needs a double lung transplant to survive.

This has turned our world upside down. While we are grateful that there is a path forward, the emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming. The cost of a transplant doesn’t end with surgery — it includes months of hospitalization, post-op care, lifelong medications to prevent rejection, and travel and lodging near the transplant center for our family to be by his side.

We’re asking for help to give our dad a second chance at life.
