Help our Papa “Big Al” kick cancer!
Hi there everyone,
My name is Brennan Terry.
If you have a minute to spare, please take a second to read about my amazing father in law, Alan Terry, who could really use your help.
My father in law Alan aka “Big Al” was diagnosed with Melanoma 4 years ago and has been battling it ever since. With multiple surgeries, immuno-therapy and after exhausting all other available treatments we all thought he was in the clear until his recent visit. Unfortunately, they found more Melanoma in the lymph nodes in his armpit. We are all absolutely heartbroken and know there is a very long and scary road ahead, but we are hopeful there will be a new treatment plan soon.
To know Shanna and Alan is to love them. They are some of the hardest working people in the world….old school farmers that never whine or complain and insist everything is fine, while continuing to give and serve others.
With both of them unable to work and my mother in law being his full-time care giver, their farm and their diner have suffered tremendously. In addition to the countless hospital stays at the Huntsman and seeing specialist after specialist, all of the medical equipment necessary to keep him going is growing and VERY expensive.
We are trying to help ease these and other financial burdens, so he can enjoy his time with his wife, family and grand babies.
Shanna and Alan would never ask for help themselves, So I’ll do it for them. I’m not a good farmhand, a millionaire, waitress, or much help with the things they really need help with right now, but I do know how amazing and powerful a community can be when good people band together to support a good cause, and I’m trying to help raise money for just a cause.
He is fighting the battle of his life against this horrible disease! And I knew many of you that love them too, would want to help us. I know it is a hard time for a lot of people right now so if a dollar or two isn’t something you can spare please share the link for this fundraiser, or send up a prayer for our papa... It would be more appreciated than you could ever know!
