Hey Team-

I have - we have - a friend who is hardworking, kind, intelligent, and in quite a rough place at the moment. He and his college-attending brother and dog have been living in their car or couch-surfing for the past 6 months.

Six. Months.

It's been harrowing and dangerous, not to mention taken an enormous mental toll on their emotional well-being. And trying to study and work while making sure they are safe, fed, and have the very basics covered is creating a snow-ball effect. After talking to him, it seems like one of the biggest helps right now would be a chunk of change to get them into an airbnb so they can recharge and get their bearings to make more solid next steps.

He's asked for identifying details to be left out as they search for work and keep their safety of the utmost importance, but I vouch for this need and the character of these two men entirely. Heck, we met as volunteers where I watched him give his all to youth in need and be mindful and of service to others.

Let's get them the hell off the street this Christmas. Thank you very much.
