Hello people, our humans call us Leo and Monty and we are, as you can clearly see two of the most devastatingly handsome and sexy cats you have ever seen (You don’t have to tell us that, we already know).
Our canine sister, SooZee, has recently been diagnosed with Mast Cell cancer the treatment of which will cost over twice as much as her pet insurance will cover. Our Humans are therefore having to look very carefully at their budget and make lots of cutbacks. They have told us that we may have to switch to supermarket value brand cat food! This is simply an intolerable situation as clearly if we eat such poor quality food we run the risk of losing our looks and if we refuse to eat it we will starve.
We want to reassure you that we are not setting up this GoFundMe for the selfish purpose of raising enough money for us to continue to be able to eat Whiskas and Go Cat for breakfast and dinner, but rather to hopefully raise funds to put towards SooZee's chemotherapy.
We know it seems odd that as cats we are wanting to do something to help a dog, but SooZee is different. To start with, she is our big sister (although we are both a little bit bigger than she is) and has been there ever since we can remember.
She is our protector and will chase off any bully-cats who come into our garden trying to intimidate us. She is also our friend and plays fun games with us, where we get to chase each other around the house.
SooZee is simply a lovely dog, and we'd like for her to be around for as long as possible. Hopefully with your support we can help that happen.
If we exceed our goal our owners have committed to donate any additional monies to PDSA who provide veterinary support to people on low income.
(We got one of our humans to organise this GoFundMe as we're not very good at using computers.... last time Monty tried to, he deleted 6 months of Emails that have never been found again)
