Hi from your friends at Sorrento Mesa PT! A few weeks ago, one of our wonderful aides, Ashley Betty, had a cardiac scare within the clinic. This was due to a flare-up from a newly diagnosed condition called Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, or WPW, which brought her heart rate up to 286 bpm! After a pit stop downstairs at Urgent Care, she was transported via ambulance to Sharp Memorial where she stayed for 3 days. In order to fix the defect she was born with she had a heart ablation procedure. Ashley incurred some medical expenses that weren't covered by her insurance, and we would like to create this page to help her with some of the medical costs.
