HELP OUR ONE IN A MILLION MAE

Donation protected
On Thursday, June 22nd, Mae received her diagnosis of a rare cancer Adrenocortical Carcinoma(ACC). One in a million people are diagnosed with this cancer and because few are familiar with the symptoms, it
has been graded as Stage 4, it has spread into her liver, heart, and lungs. Mae had been experiencing issues in several areas of her body but was treated for the single symptom only. Last week she had severe Edema and it prompted the doctor to scan her and they found a mass. She was admitted into Northwestern University in Chicago and with various testing it concluded her diagnosis.

There are very few doctors that deal with this rare cancer. Mae has been able to obtain an appointment with a doctor at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center next week. She will be flying home to New Jersey to begin her journey with her family by her side. According to her nephew Landon, "Aunt Mae is like a superhero who is strong and is going to fight off the bad disease." From the mouth of babes, you are right Landon!

Mae's treatment will be aggressive and she is ready for the battle! Can we
be her soldiers? There are so many that have expressed their love and concern so we have generated this site to help Mae in her journey. Over the next days, weeks, and months ahead she will need to be at countless doctor appointments, hospital stays, and surgeries. As you can imagine the normal costs of everyday living...such as hotels, food, gas, car, etc...the medical costs can be astronomical.

Mae is a 30-year-old, loving, kind-hearted, generous, creative, fun-loving young lady.
This will enable Mae to concentrate on getting well and fighting this wicked disease called cancer.

From the bottom of our hearts, we humbly ask that you share this link with friends and family and if possible in giving (any amount will help).

We thank you for your support and God bless each and every one of you!! #OneInAMillion
