Hi, my name is Jasmin, and I'm raising money for my sister's dog Walter. Walter is a 13yr old Maltese born in Philly and now resides in LA. Walter is an affectionate, goofy, and loveable dog. He was the first dog to be welcomed into our family.

Walter taught us how amazing dogs are, forcing us to adopt two more dogs into our family to love and care for. My older sister, Jennina, is the definition of a loving dog parent. Walter has stayed by her side through many trials and has provided comfort to all of us. Walter has been so loyal to Jennina and I can't thank him enough for how much he has helped her.

He has been sick since 10/2022, dealing with a severe UTI and was recently diagnosed with Cushing disease. There was hope once he started a new medication regime, but he has shown a sharp decline. Doctors say his liver and kidney function has suffered. He cannot enjoy being a dog and has lost so much weight. He has lost his appetite and has been vomiting and peeing blood. He is currently at the emergency room receiving IV and undergoing further testing.

We want to help my sister with the vet bills because it has been piling up. My sister is undergoing rehab for the disability she received as a nurse, and she has not been able to work. We ask you to keep Walter in your thoughts and prayers.
