Assalam o Alaykum wa Rahmatullah
This appeal is for a sister who came to Islam a few years ago, along with her mother and sister, who followed her in to Islam later.
Sadly, her mother has recently been diagnosed with lymphoma cancer.
Due to the lockdown, the family are currently facing a dire financial crisis. Her father's business forced to close and due to his age and health issue of being a heart patient he is not able to start any other work. Up until these current testing times he had been the only breadwinner in the family.
Tentative expenses for the treatment including chemotherapy and immunotherapy are about 600K -700K Rupees (Indian) (around 7,800 – 9,200 USD).
Due to the lymphoma, her kidneys have also been affected greatly. In an attempt to rectify this issue stenting was done and she was hospitalised for a few days.
Great financial costs have already been incurred due to the costs involved during the process of testing and diagnosis.
We informed Shaykh Abu Muhammad al-Maghribi (حفظه الله) regarding the affairs surrounding the treatment of our sister in Islam, and asked if we could seek financial help for this sister though seeking financial assistance from the people? He (حفظه الله) has encouraged us to assist her and to seek the support of our generous brothers and sisters, in this matter.
So, we ask you for the Sake of Allah to assist us in aiding our sister in Islam and her family, as much as you are able. We ask you to pass this request on to others that you feel may be able to aid them. At the least, we ask you to make dua for them, that Allah make their affairs easy, Aameen.
