On Monday, July 27th, our neighborhood was devastated by a tornado. My family lost our childhood home, and my mom was trapped in the basement as the storm tore through. Thankfully, our neighbors came together and dug her out, even as many of them had lost everything themselves. The destruction has left us all shaken, but it has also shown the strength and compassion within our community.

We are now facing the enormous task of cleaning up and beginning to rebuild. The funds raised will go directly toward immediate cleanup efforts in our neighborhood, helping us clear debris and make our streets safe again. As we move forward, these contributions will also support our neighbors as we start to rebuild our homes and restore the sense of community that was taken from us so suddenly.
