Today Tuesday July 3rd, 2018 our neighborhood paletero (ice cream man) was jumped by a group of men while walking towards the end of his route. He was severely beaten and his face is almost unrecognizable. He is currently in the hospital and I decided to start this gofundme page to help with the hospital bills he will incur since he is uninsured & to supplement the loss wages for time the doctor said he cannot work. I will post updates. Toribio is such a sweet, hard working man. Anything helps!
El día de hoy 3 de Julio, nuestro paletero fue asaltado y golpeado hasta el punto de ser casi irreconocible. En este momento está en el hospital. Hice esta pagina para ayudar con sus gastos médicos ya que no tiene seguro de salud y para suplementar su pérdidas de saldo por el tiempo que el doctor le dijo que no puede trabajar. Toribio es un señor muy amable y trabajador. Cual quier cosa es un ayuda!
