Help Our Neighbor, Lynne Myers, Recover After Elsa

We met Lynne last year. She is raising her 3 grandchildren right down the street. The kids come over to play often. 10 year old Mesiah was over first thing Thursday, July 8th. He explained what a scary night it had been when a tornado moved down his street and over the home he shared with his grandmother and siblings. We all had a scary night with the storm and we knew that it was bad the next block over. Later, after taking it all in, it became abundantly clear that the weather we experienced was nothing close to the nightmare they had all gone through. Windows had exploded, trees had fallen through the roof. It was miraculous no one was hurt.

Several families on that street have had tremendous damage to their homes. There has been an army of people assisting in the clean up. Ms. Lynn and the kids need our help beyond that. They have been provided with hotel accommodations for the next two nights. This will take longer than that. Truthfully we do not know when/if they will be able to return home. We are hoping this gofundme will help ease the financial strain while they sort through things and get back on their feet. Please consider to help them do that in any way you can.
