Our beloved Nana has been diagnosed with a tumor that must be removed immediately through a major surgery. Without it, her life is at serious risk. Unfortunately, the cost of this surgery is far beyond what she can afford, and access to healthcare in Mexico is very different than in the U.S.

What breaks our hearts most is Nana’s response. When she learned the diagnosis and cost, she simply said she would accept whatever fate God had planned for her. That is the kind of woman she is: selfless, gentle, and endlessly giving. She has spent her life caring for others and never asking for anything in return.

We cannot accept losing her when this surgery could save her life. Nana deserves more time, more memories, and more years surrounded by the family she loves so deeply.
