Mustard Seed Community Farm is an 11 acre farm dedicated to simple living, love of neighbor, and cultivating a place where everyone can participate in growing and eating delicious, healthy, locally-produced food. We are a volunteer-run, not-for-profit service project. Our primary focus is growing food to share with the community, and we also have a strong educational and community-building program.

We are launching a campaign to install a new building on the farm which will include a processing kitchen and hospitality space. We are very fortunate to have received various grant funding to begin this project, but with a total project estimation of $100,000 additional financial support is needed!

Over half the food grown on the farm is donated and distributed to community partners and local donation sites. A processing kitchen will enable us to extend the life of and preserve our fresh produce by transforming it into ready to use products. Examples include turning bruised berries into jam, canning excess tomatoes or dehydrating excess peppers during times of abundance.

Adding a bathroom to this addition will result in a more comfortable living space for visitors and seasonal guests, especially those with differences in ability and mobility. Visitors will benefit from this space, increasing our ability to host events and guests throughout our season, whether for a day, a weekend, or longer.
