Hi, I’m Jae Kwon Kim, the eldest son of a remarkable woman — our mum.

In June, Mum was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) — a rare and aggressive form of cancer. She underwent a mastectomy in early July, and while the surgery went well, she now faces 6 months of intense chemotherapy.

This fight comes at a time when she’s already been carrying so much.

About Our Mum

Since 2016, Mum has been the full-time carer for our dad, who is living with early-onset dementia.

She’s stayed by his side through every hard moment, just as she’s done for all of us.

Before this, Mum and Dad devoted their lives to serving others:

Their life has always been one of quiet faith, love, and sacrifice.

Now, She Needs Your Help

안녕하세요, 저는 임상희 사모님의 첫째 아들 김재권입니다.

가족을 위해 평생을 헌신해 오신 저희 어머니에 대해 여러분께 조심스럽게 말씀드리고자 합니다.

지난 6월, 어머니께서 삼중음성 유방암(TNBC)이라는 희귀하고 치료가 까다로운 암 진단을 받으셨습니다.

7월 초 유방 절제 수술을 무사히 마치셨지만, 앞으로 6개월간의 고강도 항암 치료가 남아 있습니다.

이미 많은 무게를 짊어지고 계신 어머니에게, 이번 병마는 더욱 가혹하게 느껴집니다.

부모님의 삶

이제 어머니께서 여러분의 도움이 필요합니다

항암 치료가 본격화되면 어머니 혼자서는 더 이상 아버지를 돌보실 수 없습니다.

또한 치료와 회복에 필요한 생활비, 주거비, 그리고 간병비 등 여러 가지 부담이 한꺼번에 닥친 상황입니다.
