Our beloved mom, Marilyn Wiggins, has always been the shining light in our lives. For over 30 years, she's dedicated herself to helping others as a respiratory therapist, spending 23 of those years at Alvarado Hospital. Her warm smile, kind words, unwavering optimism, and commitment to improving the lives of her patients have left an indelible mark on all of us.

However, life has taken an unexpected turn. Marilyn recently suffered a cerebrovascular accident, which has left her facing significant challenges. This slow, years-long process has led to the narrowing of vessels in her brain, putting her at constant risk of further health complications, including the possibility of another stroke. Other serious medical conditions were discovered during her hospital admittance that pose addtional challenges. Her condition has affected her speech and mobility, and she now faces a long and challenging journey towards recovery.

Our primary goal with this fundraiser is to ensure that our mom can focus on her recovery without the added burden of financial stress. We want to keep her home, pay her bills, and provide the best care possible as she regains her strength. The road ahead is uncertain, but with your support, we can make sure that she has the comfort and security she needs to face this challenge head-on.
