Help Our Mother Get Life-Saving Medication

We have been dealing with this for over a year…..Tolvaptan is the medication our mother needs that insurance refuses to approve. Even though we’ve provided more than enough documentation and letters from medical providers that state this medication is medically necessary for her to live.

•45 ER visits/hospitalizations (all only when she is denied this medication by insurance)

•4 denied insurance claims for the medication

•4 denied appeals

•3 specialists and 3 different hospital systems (all do not know why this is ha@followers her)

•1 denied peer to peer

Being in the hospital so much has definitely taken a financial toll on our mothers everyday and essential needs, bills, and transportation.

My sister and I have started the process of contacting State and Federal legislatures to plead for help.
