Our mom, Miranda, has had a challenging year medically. Many people have reached out and offered support and all of the prayers and positive messages have been such a blessing. However, we have had some wonderful people insist they would like to do more. So, with that in mind, we are opening this GoFundMe to assist with her medical bills as she continues fighting cancer.

A few months ago, our mom suffered two small strokes and was in the hospital for over a week. Despite her consistent work and ongoing recovery, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, specifically invasive mammary carcinoma. Her doctors at Vanderbilt were able to get her in for surgery within a couple of months; however, cancer treatment involves many appointments and procedures, and she will have to start radiation soon. The cumulative impact of the appointments, travel, and time off of work for medical appointments and procedures, has led to a significant increase in her medical bills quickly. While our mom is typically a private person, who rarely seeks help, we hope this can help alleviate some stress off of her so that she can continue her treatments with some peace of mind.
