Hi, my name is Maria. I am writing this on behalf of my mom and all of my siblings.

My mom began experiencing severe pain in her leg and went to the emergency room, where doctors discovered a blood clot. She underwent surgery to have it removed and was discharged a few days later. Unfortunately, about four days after returning home, the pain returned and her leg became extremely swollen. She was admitted to the hospital again.

After more in-depth testing, doctors discovered masses affecting her kidneys, bladder, the right side of her body, and her neck. A biopsy was performed, and it confirmed melanoma cancer.

At this time, we have not been told what stage the cancer is. We were informed that there may be treatment options available if she is able to tolerate them, along with dialysis to support her kidney function.

Our family is seeking help with medical expenses, and for now, we are praying that this GoFundMe will help us through this difficult time.
