Help Our Blind Mom Regain Her Sight with New Therapy
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Victoria, and I'm reaching out to ask for your help in supporting our incredible mom. She was born with a rare genetic disorder called Retinitis Pigmentosa. Over the last 16 years, she has gone from having decent vision to being legally blind, with only about 10% of her vision remaining at age 49.
Recently, at a checkup with her retinal specialist, we were given a glimmer of hope. Our mom qualifies for a groundbreaking regenerative therapy trial using Exosome therapy—a cell-free treatment that utilizes tiny vesicles to improve cell communication and stimulate healing. This is the first treatment option we've ever had the chance to try, and we are beyond excited about the possibilities!
Unfortunately, this innovative therapy comes with a high cost, and we are seeking your support to help cover the expenses. Due to this therapy not yet being approved by the FDA, it will not be covered through insurance. Any donation, big or small, will make a huge difference in giving my mom a chance at better vision and improving her quality of life.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity and for sharing in our journey <3
