Help Our Mom, Pauline, Get Life-Saving Treatment in Medellin

Hi, our names are Jonquil and Patou and we are writing on behalf of our Mom, Pauline.

Our Mom is the heart of our family. She is strong, loving and always puts others before herself. Today she is facing the fight of her life and as her daughters, we are doing everything we can to help her get the care she needs.

In 2022, our Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and ongoing treatment, facing each step with courage and determination. For a time, things felt stable and we were hopeful.

In late 2025, we received heartbreaking news that the cancer had spread to her brain. While this has been devastating for our family, our Mom remains a fighter and we are committed to supporting her through the next phase of treatment.

Why We Are Traveling to Medellin, Columbia

After consulting with specialists, our family made the difficult decision to travel to Medellin, Columbia for her treatment. Our Mom does not have medical insurance and the cost of care at home and elsewhere would be far beyond what we can afford out of pocket.

Medellin offers access to experienced medical teams and advanced treatment options at a cost that, while still significant, gives us a realistic chance to move forward.

Her treatment plan includes:

• Brain surgery

• Radiation therapy

• Medical imaging and monitoring

• Post-operative and follow-up care

How The Funds Will Be Used

Funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward:

• Surgery and hospital costs

• Radiation treatment

• Diagnostic imaging and lab work

• Travel and accommodations during treatment

• Recovery and follow up care
