Help Send Laura to Represent Team USA at the Maccabi Games!

Hey Everyone! We’re thrilled to share that our mom, Laura Jaget, has been selected to represent Team USA at the 2025 Maccabi Games in Tel Aviv in July 2025! There will be 80 countries and over 10,000 athletes participating in these games and pickleball will be making its debut! This is an incredible honor, as Laura was chosen to compete in the 18+ Open team division, showcasing her passion, dedication, and skill at the highest level.

Laura started playing pickleball in 2019 and it is her passion. In just a few short years, she has become a force in the sport. She’s earned numerous titles, including gold medals at both the US Open and National Championships. Her achievements are a testament to her hard work and love for the game, but if you know her at all, you know that her dedication doesn’t stop at pickleball. Laura is a proud founding member of Chabad of Summerlin and has raised her four children, instilling in us the values of compassion, community, and service.

Laura is someone who always gives more than she takes. Whether it’s to her community, friends, or family, she’s known for her unwavering support, care, and generosity. She’s the person you can call in times of need, and she’s always there to lend a helping hand, offer wise advice, or simply share a laugh or a hug.

Now, it’s our turn to support Laura in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent her country and heritage on an international stage. Competing in the Maccabi Games comes with significant expenses, and Laura—who rarely spends money on herself—could really use our help to make this dream a reality. The total cost for each athlete is $9,800, and we’re aiming to raise $11,100 to cover this fee as well as additional expenses associated with training and travel.
