Hi everyone, we are doing this to help our mom. She’s a single mother doing everything she can to keep a roof over our heads. She was recently laid off from work unexpectedly after being out of work for a month, and it has been a struggle for her to catch up. Thankfully, she found a new job, but she only gets paid twice a month and was hired after the first paycheck period, so she hasn’t been able to cover rent or utilities. We are trying to get jobs to help her but haven’t had much success so far. She is trying to get a second job at night as well.

It’s been really hard seeing our mom struggle and the thought of losing our home is terrifying and there isn’t much we can do to help until we get jobs. The funds raised will go directly toward catching up on rent, paying utilities, and making sure we don’t lose our apartment.

It would mean the world to us if this could be done as discreetly as possible, as our mom is not one to ask for help. She just always manages to figure it out but this seems harder for her than normal. So if you can donate or share, it would make a huge difference for us.
