On August 23rd our mom, Jajuan, went to the hospital for severe stomach pain. It turned out that her appendix had burst and the surrounding area was infected. Since Monday she has come down with pneumonia and is getting a CT Scan to make sure nothing else is wrong.

Our mom is one of the most selfless people that we know, she is always so caring and giving to her four kids and everyone around her. So much so, that she didn't tell any of her kids about her hospitalization until the next day so that she, "didn't ruin our first days of school."

Jajuan is a single mother of four children and currently lives alone. Over the past six months she has worked tirelessly to improve her credit score and live a more financially stable life. However, this is her 2nd trip to the hospital in 2021 and with a single income, with no sick days or any health insurance, it has been hard to survive. We ask that you give whatever you can spare to help her with medical expenses, along with the work that she has missed and will continue to miss over the next few days/weeks of recovery. We want her mind to be on her health, not on how she will pay for this month's rent and bills.
