Help Our Mom Irma After Unjust ICE Detention and Deportation

Hi everyone,

We’re asking for your support to help our mom, Irma, after she was unexpectedly detained and deported by ICE on October 21–22. Even though she’s been following every step of the legal process toward citizenship, she was taken into custody during a routine immigration appointment and deported the very next day.

Our mom has lived most of her life here in the U.S. — all her children and grandchildren were born here, and she has no family in Mexico. Her entire life and community are here.

Irma is a loving, hardworking mother and grandmother who has always been there for her family. Her absence has left a huge void in all of our lives.

We’re doing everything we can to bring her home, and any help will go toward legal fees and living expenses as she begins rebuilding her life.
