Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to ask for support for my incredible mom (Melissa Buczko) who was recently in a terrible boating accident. This happened on Sunday, and it completely turned our world upside down.

During the accident, she suffered a serious spinal injury and broke a bone in her spine. She was rushed to the hospital, where she underwent emergency surgery. She’s been in the hospital ever since, fighting through pain and starting the long road to recovery.

Anyone who knows my mom knows how strong and selfless she is. Always the first to help others, always putting her family first. Now, she needs our help.

Her recovery will be slow and difficult, with many medical expenses along the way….hospital bills, surgery costs, physical therapy, and time away from work. We’re doing everything we can as a family, but it’s more than we can manage on our own.

Update on My Mom ❤️

We wanted to share that my mom has officially been moved from the hospital to a rehabilitation facility as she continues her recovery. We’re not exactly sure how long she’ll be there, but we’re taking things one day at a time.

Her spinal surgery went well, and she’s been staying strong through it all. We are beyond grateful for everyone who has reached out, supported our family, and donated during this difficult time. Your kindness means more than we can say. Please keep sending good thoughts her way as she works hard in rehab.
