Hello friends and family! recently our mother went in for a mammogram. they found masses in her breast and they decided to biopsy them and they came back cancerous. it is in its early stages so they're very confident that they can remove it. but they’re going to have to give her a double mastectomy to make sure it’s all gone. with our healthcare system being the way it is, they are not covering the reconstructive surgery or the implants so we are creating this go fund me to cover that for her. with being a woman, so much of our femininity is tied to our breasts and having them removed will make my mom feel less like a woman. it’s really sick that they do not take this into consideration and cover this for the people that have to go through this procedure. our mom is very tough but the reality setting in and we just want to make this experience as easy as possible for her. so please donate if you can, share it on your platforms or even keep us in your prayers. we’re truly grateful to have such a mother that sacrificed so much for us, and we wish we were all in a better financial spot to just cover it ourselves. the procedure is $15k but she’ll also be out of work for a long time and will need the extra help to just get by. thank you so much!
