On December 13th, our world was turned upside down when our mom was diagnosed with Signet Ring Cell Carcinoma (SRCC), a rare and aggressive form of cancer.
Our mom is the strongest, most selfless person we know. All of our life, she has given everything she has to make sure my siblings and I never went without. She was a single mom who worked three jobs to provide for us, turning every little apartment into a warm, beautiful home filled with love.
Whether in the stand's at one of her grandkid's football games or helping other's financially, spiritually and emotionally - she's always giving to others. She’s a woman who runs 5Ks, volunteers, attends Bible study, and makes friends wherever she goes. She can talk to ANYONE and leaves any vacation with a rolodex of new friends. My mom has a big heart and an even bigger determination to live life to the fullest. Now, she’s facing the toughest fight of her life.
On January 3rd, she had a major surgery removing 40% of her colon and 15 lymph nodes. Her current treatment plan includes chemotherapy, integrative care to support her body recovering from the surgery, and possibly clinical trials. It’s a long and challenging road, and she will have to step away from work—her sole source of income—to focus on her recovery.
As a family, we’re doing everything we can to support her, but we can’t do it alone. That’s why I’m asking for your help.
Any contribution—big or small—will go directly toward her medical expenses, treatments, and living costs while she fights this battle. Your support will not only ease the financial burden but also give her the strength and peace of mind to focus on what truly matters: healing and thriving.
My mom has spent her life giving to others. Now, it’s our turn to give back to her. I love her with all my heart, and I want her to be here for many more years to come—to run more 5Ks, to decorate her home for the holidays, and to keep making new friends everywhere she goes.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping me give my mom the best chance at beating this. Your kindness, prayers, and generosity mean the world to us.
