Hi everyone, I’m fundraising for our brave &’ strong mom. On sept 7th, 20 labor day my mother experienced a terrible illness which was diagnosed once she got to the neurologist specialist hospital as Subarachnoid hemorrhage- Bleeding in the space between the brain and the tissue covering the brain; is usually from a bulging blood vessel that bursts in the brain (aneurysm).
She was hospitalized for 30 days fighting to stay with us. She is currently in rehabilitation to recover her body’s strength.

She also developed hydrocephalus 2 days after being hospitalized. Hydrocephalus is a build-up of fluid in the cavities deep within the brain. The extra fluid puts pressure on the brain and can cause brain damage. However , with the amazing doctors she had they were able to help her immediately by placing a drainage to her head to help release the fluids and reduce the pressure.
She had this drainage on for 21+ days and then was able to go under surgery to replace the drainage with a Brian Shunt which is known to be possibly temporary or permanent. Brian shunt is a catheter which relieves pressure on the brain, a condition known as hydrocephalus, by draining the extra fluid in the brain ventricle(s) to a different area of the body, usually the abdominal, where it can be absorbed more quickly.

Despite all the obstacles our mother went through she is a miracle , God has a plan for her. She’s a walking miracle and we are blessed to still haveher here with us today. 

This brings us to here , for anyone and all those that can help her and us during her post recovery.  Unfortunately the medical expenses are not covered by her insurance completely. The contributions of funds will be used towards her medical expenses. So my Mom could be debt free after this life changing experience, as she will not be able to work. We are beyond appreciative & grateful for your time in reading my moms story.
