Hi my name is Daisy Adams Mendoza. I am sharing my mothers story in hopes of financially helping her to rebuild her dream mobile home. My mother originally moved from Gilroy CA to Buckeye AZ for a better life and opportunities. She worked as a janitor at Litchfield elementary and transferred over to Verrado middle school and has been there since. She's a very loving mother, hard worker and always tries to do her best for her family. In these years, her husband Gavino and her have been saving money to establish a family home for them and their son Gael who is 8 years old. They had purchased a small piece a land with a dream of adding a small mobile home for themselves. They where able to purchase a used older mobile home and began the difficult task of using their saving to settle in since it needed work. They hired contractors to start this project which was never finished. As they where building and remodeling their mobile home they were extremely happy to see their progress of their dream come true. SADLY on Friday July 23rd strong winds blew over their small mobile home and destroyed it into pieces leaving the entire foundation gone as seen in photos below. They had just spent their savings on hiring contractors to help them build and unfortunately there was no insurance since the mobile home was not completed. This has been very sad and devastating for my mom since she had used her saving on this mobile home and this was her first home. She's very hurt and doesn't know what to do, this was going to be her retirement home. We are hoping to raise enough fund to help my mom Beatriz Mendoza to rebuild her mobile home.
