Hello we are the Family of Marcie, and we are fundraising to get a chance to go to the Burzynski clinic in Houston.

Marcie is a loving, devoted, single Mother to identicle twin boys. At the age 22, with new twin boys, she started her life on a path of selfless careers and endeavors as a cadet at the Albuquerque Police Department. She slowly moved up through traffic division, to mounted patrol on Horse back, to Presidential details. Our Mother than became the very first woman to make the Motorcycle Division in the State of New Mexico. After Retirement , Marcie went on to careers like Co-owning a powerline utility construction company, and an instructor at Northwestern University teaching accident reconstruction nationwide.

Our Mothers first bout with cancer came in 2006 and was discovered by going to the hospital with a broken neck from falling out of a hunting stand while deer hunting, which left her with a Double mastectomy and remission. Our Mothers Cancer was rediscovered after another accident slipping on some ice in 2013, The Cancer had metastasized to her bones and Brain. While our Mother collected herself and prepared for the unending battle of MBC HER2+ she decided go back to college and earn her degree in nursing as an RN. After Graduation, our Mom went on to work in the cancer department Helping other suffering under the weight of this horrific disease.

So after fighting this for 9 years, 3 years over her expectancy and failed treatments. We have found the Burzynsku clinic in Houston that has had numerous success rates on our Mothers' type of cancer where others have failed. The problem is .. this institution does not accept insurance.. We are all hoping and praying on the good Will and generosity of the community that Our Mother has fought so hard to Protect, Grow, Help and Nurture her entire working life. Please help us give her a chance to beat this.
