Angie was a loving, caring mother to 4 and grandmother to 2. We (her kids) noticed that she slowly lost her ability to speak, balance herself and think for herself and be independent.
She was admitted to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh on January 2nd. After a biopsy, it was confirmed that our mom had terminal brain cancer. She had a stage 4 glioblastoma directly in the middle of her brain, leaving no chance of removal and chemo wasn’t an option.
We took our mom home and spent her final week being taken care of by her family, we laughed, we cried, we loved taking care of her.
Angela passed January 21st surrounded by her daughters, mother and best friend. Rest in eternal peace mom!
