Meet Our Brave Girl: Ariyah

If you met Ariyah, you would never guess her heart is working twice as hard as ours. She is talkative, spunky, and full of life — the first to tell a story, the first to offer a hug, and the center of our world. After years of waiting, heartbreak, and loss, Ariyah is our miracle, and loving her is the greatest joy of our lives.

Ariyah is a typical 3-year-old who loves sunny days, chicken nuggets, her family, and watching Bluey. Through every doctor’s visit, test, and poke, she has shown a bravery that leaves us in awe. To the world, she’s a vibrant little girl. To us, she is everything — our miracle, our motivation, and the reason we keep moving forward.

The Challenge Ahead

Ariyah has a complex combination of congenital heart defects: AVSD, Mitral Valve Regurgitation, and Cor Triatriatum. We are traveling to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to place her in the hands of top pediatric cardiac surgeons. This surgery will repair her heart and stop the valve leakage, giving her the healthy future she deserves.

While we are grateful for this care, the journey brings significant financial challenges — travel, lodging, time away from work, and medical expenses.
